Q: What is wi-fi teach? A: Answer Wi-fi teach is the process of teaching your RedHawk trap the local wi-fi network. During the process the trap learns the name and password of the wi-fi network, receives a client and site designation and connects for the first time with the RedHawk server. This process is the core of a new RedHawk trap installation. Q: How will I know what to do during the wi-fi teach? A: The wi-fi teach process is performed using a step-by-step method. The app will guide you in voice and text on how to perform the required operations. It is pretty easy. Q: What if I teach the RedHawk the wrong wi-fi network? A: If the trap was taught with a wrong name or password for the network it will not be able to connect to the RedHawk server and the process will fail. You can re-attempt the process as many times as you would like. Q: On which button should I press for 5 seconds? A: Press on the physical button on your RedHawk trap.
